The God-daughters

I love my God-daughters M and S so very much!  In November, I always make a trip to see them for M's birthday.  This year, I took my camera and captured a little late-afternoon play and also got a few shots before school the next morning.  One looks like her Mother, one looks like her Father... both of them I love with my whole heart.  :)

I even got a little shot with them myself!  :)

The L Family Holiday Photos - Year 1

On Thanksgiving, I tried to do a favor for my brother and sister-in-law... take their holiday card photos.  These, however, didn't work out as well as the others I did, since my adorable nephews NEVER STOP MOVING.  Boy, is it hard to capture them.  They ended up using different photos b/c I just didn't get the right shot that day... everything is a learning experience in this new hobby, for sure!  Here are a few of the rejects... :)

The T Family Holiday Card Surprise

Good friends of mine took a holiday card opportunity to announce the birth of their 2nd child, and asked me to take a few pics in the backyard so they could get the right shots!

Loved some of these, and my subject is, as usual, all too willing to play with the camera for Aunt B!

Fall Fest with the Fam, 2010

Saturday night there was a Fall Fest out at my Mom and Dad's country club, and my bro and sis-in-law and the nephews joined us.  It was a delight, including my Mom dunking my Dad in the dunking booth!  Classic!  The lighting was beautiful as the sun set over us.  And W and K are the cutest kids in the world.

Halloween 2010

I have 2 friends who have adorable children.  Well, I have lots of friends with adorable children, but these 2 I see frequently, and what better time to show off their cuteness than at Halloween?  The strawberry and the conductor were just priceless this year.  Happy Halloween!

My 1st Wedding

I just had a fabulous time at my first wedding shoot! Hee Hee! Well, it's not really my first "official" shoot... and I was severely lacking in my skillz, but I took pics at the wedding of a dear friend a couple of weeks ago, and I loved every minute. In the 4 hours I was there, I took nearly 500 photos. There were some cruddy ones, and there were some that I think really captured the feel of the moment... and these are included here, with K's permission. Hopefully you'll see some of the tenderness, kindness, joy, and love that were present at the backyard nuptials.
